They are combinations of landscapes I have visited myself with skies and clouds from my own past and such from art history. Titles such as Allgäu meets Corot, Grenoble meets Blechen or Gignac meets Negenborn indicate this.
Actually the idea for this project came up in 2004.
The series consisting of 30 pieces was finally realized between January 2023 and Feburary 2024.

„Die Ausstellung „Perspektiven/Perspectives“ zeigt unter anderem neue Arbeiten aus der Serie „Miniature Landscapes“, die von 2023 bis 2024 entstanden sind und erstmals präsentiert werden. Variantenreich in ihren Ansichten, ihrer Farbigkeit, ihrer Lichtregie, den Himmelsausschnitten und Wolkenformationen sowie der Landschaftsmotivik insgesamt, bestechen die in Acryl auf Papier gemalten Kleinformate (je 16 x 20 cm) durch eine ausdrucksstarke und zugleich sensible Bildsprache. Sie fordern die Wahrnehmung von uns Betrachterinnen und Betrachtern heraus und vermögen ganz unterschiedliche Naturstimmungen hervorzurufen.“
